: The Transworld Charity Ball, hosted by Yan Chai Hospital and the Transworld Committee, put a noble cause in the spotlight. The committee is made up of university students who are aiming to bridge the gap between youth and the elderly through charity work. The charity ball helps to support their mission.
A fundraising auction took place during the event, with many sponsors donating items from their private collections. Lots included a Cartier Bold Poker Set from a private donor, a Gubelin jewellery set from the brand, a Valentino handbag from the maison, and a two-day packaged trip to Macau donated by MGM Macau.
Rounding off the evening, Transworld Committee members took part in a fashion show featuring pieces by local designers. Vanessa Lam, chairwoman of the Yan Chai Hospital Board, attended the event. We also spotted socialite Veronica Lam, while celebrities Mag Lam and Hubert Wu performed during the gala.
