That’s right. After three-and-a-half of fruitful years at Dior, the Belgian designer is stepping down from his role as creative director for personal reasons.
It may come as a surprise given the enthusiastic response Simons’ designs for Dior have had. The brand announced that Simons' show in Paris earlier this month was his last for the maison. There is no word yet on who will replace him.
For fans of the brand, it's no doubt sad news. Lucky for us, the romantic affair between Simons and Dior will be forever documented in “Dior and I”.
