Hammer Museum's Gala in the Garden raises US$2.5 million

: There's nothing more effective than a gala which not only celebrates iconic individuals in the arts and entertainment world but also raises money for a good cause.

At the 13th annual Gala in the Garden hosted by the museum, supported by luxury brand Bottega Veneta for the third consecutive year, actress Diane Keaton and artist Paul McCarthy were honoured. Celebrating their milestone with the stars were actress Emma Stone and artist Matthew Barney, who respectively paid tribute to the two extraordinary individuals.

Also on scene were actress-turned-designer Ashley Olsen, actor Matt Bomer and actresses Salma Hayek and Elizabeth Banks. Academy Award-winning actress Julia Roberts was also spotted sporting her trademark sunny smile. Glee co-stars Dianna Agron and Jane Lynch were spotted catching up.

The gala, which was sold-out, raised US$2.5 million for the museum's renowned exhibitions and free public programmes.
