5 Things To Know About Chloé AW16

1. French writer-turned-adventurer Anne-France Dautheville, who roamed the globe on her trusted Kawasaki 125 motorbike, is the muse for Chloé’s aw16 collection. While the individualist was quoted on the invitation, her unique style is also referenced throughout the collection.

2. Over-sized silhouettes are highlighted by furry jackets as well as ponchos, tasseled tapestry coats and kaftan-style dresses.

3. Echoing the unveiling of zip-up tracksuits from the ss16 collection, Chloé's creative director Clare Waight Keller toughens up the Chloé girl again in the aw collection with extensive use of leather in riding suits and cropped leather pants matched with classic Chloé romantic Boho tops.

4. Although the motorbike heroine is the muse of the collection, the aw16 Chloé girl still packs plenty of the signature "flou" dresses for her globe-trotting adventure-ready wardrobe. Our favourites include a sheer silk billowy gown featuring hand-finished appliqué and Mille-Feuille skirts with cascading tiers of beauty.

5. We are drooling over the new Chloé "It" bag Lexa. The spacious messenger bag is a perfect travel companion. We are also digging the customised Drew bag worn by front row guest Chinese actress Gao Yuanyuan.
