1. Guests take their seats – transparent acrylic cubes filled with mundane objects such as light bulbs and disposable razors. Models strut through the art-filled Unesco hall adorned with Miró murals. Rather than another house soundtrack, the almost hypnotic lines from London's Harley Street Stop Smoking Clinic serve as background music.

2. The carefully curated fit-and-flare silhouettes and elegant details elevate the aw16 Loewe woman. Full skirts with handkerchief hems matched with cinched-waist tops are aplenty.

3.Structured yet flattering leather corsets reinstate the elongated silhouette. 

4.Artistic elements from hand-painted tops and cat necklaces to dazzling strings of metallic rings on dresses can be seen throughout the collection. Designer Jonathan Anderson also included two looks featuring a skirt and dress handwoven with rubber bands. 

5.The Spanish luxury leather house's know-how in accessories is well demonstrated by the iconic Amazona rendered in tweed, the Hobo bag inspired by the shape of a fortune cookie toughened with multiple chains and straps and more. Loewe also answers to the "see now, buy now" trend by offering pre-order options for a selected few ready-to-wear looks and accessories immediately after the show.
