Japanese master designer Yohji Yamamoto teams up with JOYCE to relaunch '95 pour homme collection

Yohji Yamamoto has teamed up with JOYCE for a revival of his spring/summer '95 pour homme collection - a first for the brand.

Yamamoto's signature style, which favours functionality over unnecessary embellishments, is evident in the re-imagined capsule collection. Another prevalent element is the use of the time-honoured Japanese "Sashiko" stitching technique, a stitching method traditionally used to reinforce fraying parts of an outfit as a temporary solution.

"Sashiko", which translates to "little stabs", is a nod to the master tailor's Japanese heritage. Yamamoto's collection is now available at JOYCE in Central and at its Harbour City store.
