Fashion contributes to a good cause once again with the recent collaboration between Christian Louboutin, Valérie Schlumberger and the women of La Maison Rose to launch a new limited-edition tote bag called Africaba. Ten per cent of the sale proceeds will be donated to the foundation through Schlumberger's company to help underprivileged women and children in Senegal.
Schlumberger, who works to preserve and disseminate handicrafts by talented West African artisans, shares the same passion for craftsmanship as her longtime friend Louboutin.
