WHAT: NARS 25th anniversary “No Rules. Just Lips” party
WHERE: Harbour City, Hong Kong
HAPPENINGS: NARS Cosmetics commemorated its 25th anniversary with a star-studded party, followed by five days of events and exhibitions at Harbour City’s Ocean Terminal and Gateway Arcade.


NARS celebrates opening of flagship store at IFC Mall
As part of the celebrations, 72 new highly pigmented lipstick shades in matt, satin and sheer finishes were unveiled. Meanwhile 12 familiar hues from the limited edition Original Lipstick collection were revealed with updated formulas and new red packaging.



How do J-beauty and K-beauty compare?
The opening party welcomed the city’s social media stars, including Hong Kong celebrity make-up artist Zing and mainland model Qi Qi, who wore Inappropriate Red from the new 60-shade Iconic Lipstick collection.

Other attendees included artists Angel Chu, Zelia Zhong, Ashley Lam, Chloe So and Hedwig Tam, as well as fashionistas Antonia Li, Feiping Chang, Helen Ma, Irisa Wong, Kayla Wong and Mayao Ma.
Guests were invited to experience the “Lip Wardrobe” where they could try on lipstick shades from the new collection in augmented reality (AR), a stress-free way of finding out their “essential” and “rule-breaking” favourite.



Guests also stepped into the “Iconic Beauty Elevator” creative studio, where special effects helped transform them into supermodels set in a NARS make-up video – ready for a quick social share.
