5 things you should know about Bollywood heartthrob Tiger Shroff (including how he got those ripped abs)

Tiger Shroff, the 29-year-old actor, has starred in several Bollywood action films, and in the five years since his debut, he’s stolen the hearts of film-goers around the world. The young star doesn’t reveal much of his life on social media, so here are some things you probably didn’t know about him.
1. Is he dating Disha Patani?
Both are Bollywood powerhouses and both are frequently seen together – but neither have ever confirmed their relationship status. They first starred in the Bollywood film Baaghi 2.
2. His real name isn’t Tiger
The actor’s real name is Jai Hemant Shroff, but his father, Jackie Shroff, started calling him Tiger because when he was a child, he tried to bite everyone. In a funny coincidence, Jackie, who is also an actor, played the voice of the tiger in the Hindi edition of the 2018 Netflix film, Mowgli.
3. He’s a Bollywood action film star
Tiger made his debut in 2014 in the film Heropanti, and since then has appeared in Baaghi – where he echoes his real-life martial arts hobby by playing a martial arts student – followed by Baaghi 2 and War. His next films, including a remake of Rambo, are coming in 2020.
