The Guggenheim New York’s annual gala fundraiser welcomed a raft of stars, including Charlize Theron, Nina Dobrev, Uma Thurman, Karlie Kloss, Zoey Deutch and Christine and the Queens – but who dressed the Dior theme best?

Happenings: The annual Guggenheim fundraiser took place on November 14 at the legendary New York museum, a glittery event that included dinner, music and, of course, art. Attendees were treated to a performance by cellist Kelsey Lu.
The evening honoured Guggenheim architect Frank Gehry, foundation honorary chair Peter Lawson-Johnston, the museum’s works and process founder Mary Sharp Cronson, and works and process producer Caroline Cronson, each of whom shared a long relationship with the museum.
Following dinner, guests explored “Artistic License: Six Takes on the Guggenheim Collection”, newly curated by Cai Guo-Qiang, Paul Chan, Jenny Holzer, Julie Mehretu, Richard Prince and Carrie Mae Weems.
