Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premiere – Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Kelly Marie Tran dazzle on the red carpet in London

Happenings: The European premiere of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker – the ninth and final film in the Skywalker saga – was held at Cineworld in Leicester Square, London. Lead stars Daisy Ridley and John Boyega lit up the red carpet, as did a showcase of stormtroopers led by Darth Vader.
Ridley, who reprises her role as Rey in the film, stepped out in a night blue corset-style gown by Vivienne Westwood Couture. Boyega paid tribute to his Nigerian heritage by wearing a wide-sleeved robe – traditionally worn by men in West Africa – with gold detailing.
