This is the age-old adage that the Kardashian-Jenner clan have learned to live by since their rise to reality TV fame in the early noughties, and Kylie Jenner has certainly had her share of social backlash recently. Although America's most famous family (in terms of Instagram followers, anyway) are experts at making the Twitterverse or Insta-fans feel like close family friends, this digital dynasty has also found itself in hot water with the internet on more than a few occasions. We run through some of the more eyebrow-raising scandals endured by Kylie, Khloé, Kim, Kendall and – don’t forget – Rob! Kylie Jenner and the mink slippers The “self-made billionaire” has recently come under fire on the internet for some terribly-timed Instagram stories. The Kylie Cosmetics founder posted a story this weekend about the Australian bush fires with the caption, “Over half a BILLION animals have been killed in Australia … This breaks my heart”. Indeed, Australia has been ravaged by some of the deadliest wildfires, since September 2019, with estimates of the number of animals killed in New South Wales alone going up to nearly 800 million. Following her Instagram story, Kylie then posted a photo of her new Louis Vuitton slippers – made of real mink fur. The internet was not having it.
