K-pop star Hyerim’s wedding – everything we know about the Wonder Girls singer and her marriage to taekwondo athlete Shin Min-chul

It is not common to see a K-pop idol get married, so many fans will be especially excited to witness the marriage of Hyerim from Wonder Girls to her boyfriend Shin Min-chul, a taekwondo athlete, in July.
Hyerim publicly acknowledged that she has been dating Shin for the past seven years back in March. The couple also recently appeared on reality show Don’t Be Jealous and talked about how they met as well as their feelings about going public.

She can speak four languages
Born in Korea, Hyerim’s family migrated to Hong Kong when she was about two years old. She completed her middle school before returning to Korea. Thanks to the cosmopolitan environment of Hong Kong, Hyerim is capable of speaking four different languages – Korean, English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
She mentioned during her appearance on chat show Abnormal Summit that she is most comfortable with English and Korean, followed by Mandarin and Cantonese.
