“I love the design of the collection, its natural beauty, vivacity and fashionable style,” she says. “The stackability of Bee My Love inspires the wearer to create a style that expresses her own personality and charm. The jewellery pieces also go well with my daily look – relaxed, effortless and natural.”

Here, the 38-year-old star tells us about her thoughts on tough times, acting, love, her personal style and more.

Every relationship is one-of-a-kind, and there is no standard answer to what to do or say when communicating with your significant other. Love is such a conundrum of life, intricate and complicated

How she has been coping during these difficult times

“I have learned a lot about myself during this time. I have learned to cherish the people in my life who have stood by me through the most challenging times. At the end of the day, all we have is each other and all we can offer one another during this time is love and kindness. Love, care and share with people around you, because they may need it more than you think.”

Why she loves acting

“As [with] other people, it’s hard [for me] to express every feeling. However, as an actress, I can vent my emotions through the roles that I play and in turn reward my own feelings. Perhaps for that reason in particular, I still find acting very enjoyable.”

What she thinks of love and friendship

“Kinship and friendship, I treat it sincerely. The most valuable emotion in life is when it is felt mutually, truthfully and wholeheartedly. [Every] story of love has something in common: [the] maintenance and preservation of affection requires an assiduous and cooperative attitude from both sides.

The quality that matters the most to her

“As either an actress or just a normal person, I always remind myself to hold on to what I believe in and to be as passionate as when I first started. With this spirit, I try to bear in mind ‘do my best, and give my all’. I think highly of loyalty, with my career or with other people, being as assiduous as possible.”

Her jewellery style

“I’m always fascinated how jewellery can transform a look, or even your mood. When I’m wearing a statement necklace, it gives me a sense of confidence, almost transforming me into feeling strong and powerful. But for most of the time, my personal jewellery style is [that it] just takes one jewellery piece that speaks to your heart, while keeping simple and cool. It could just be one pair of earrings, or a bracelet, or a ring!

“Jewellery pieces are not simply works of art or accessories that decorate a fashion style; they carry history and culture within themselves. Each piece is enhanced by the memory and emotions of its creator and collector, embedded with unique meaning and stories.”

Her style inspiration

“I have had a lifelong interest in amazing architecture and contemporary art. I have always drawn inspiration from them in how I design and decorate the spaces [in] my house, to even styling and dressing myself. Even wearing the hexagonal shaped Bee My Love pieces from Chaumet sparked my fascination [with] the sleek graphic yet architectural lines of a beehive’s honeycomb structure.”

Why she chose to collaborate with Chaumet

“I will never forget when I was invited to the ‘Chaumet in Majesty’ exhibition in Monaco last year, where I had the chance to appreciate many historical and precious jewellery masterpieces rarely seen anywhere else.

“The brand takes inspiration from nature, architecture and history, using eclectic symbols of emotions to narrate stories of love, which I find very infectious.

“During the recent hardship in society that we are experiencing this year, this job – which was conducted safely and with disinfection – gave me and the staff a cheerful and fun spirit. I hope you will enjoy our work.”

The Bee My Love range includes earrings, rings, necklaces and bracelets in white, yellow or rose gold, some with precious stones.
