From their superstar folks to silver screen performance debuts, the children of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are legitimate Hollywood royalty – even the very youngest.

Now 12 years old, Knox and Vivienne are the two youngest members of the A-list celebrity Jolie-Pitt clan. And as twin offspring of two of the planet’s most famously attractive personalities, their lives are evidently rather enviable. Here are five interesting things we know about the prominent progeny of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

Their Nice (France) origin story

The twins were famously born to much fanfare on the French Riviera, in the charming seaside city of Nice, with Knox born first, about a minute before his twin sister. In addition to their glamorous birthplace, the origins of their names are equally intriguing.

Knox, full name Knox Léon Jolie-Pitt, is named after his paternal great grandfather, Hal Knox Hillhouse, with Léon being derived from his mum’s great grandfather. Vivienne’s middle name is Marcheline, which is a tribute to her maternal grandmother, Angelina’s mum Marcheline Bertrand.
