India’s favourite A-listers including Padmaavat stars Deepika Padukone and husband Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez, as well as Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and their son Taimur have been getting up to all kinds of fun – and inspirational – things during lockdown, and these are STYLE’s favourite candid IG moments

Like the rest of us, India’s glitterati have been finding novel ways to stay occupied during the pandemic, while following strict social restrictions and distancing.

And they’ve been busy! Deepika Padukone is learning the piano, while Kareena Kapoor, her actor hubby Saif Ali Khan and toddler Taimur dabbled in art. Some others, like cricket captain Virat Kohli, submitted to their spouse’s salon skills – turns out wife Anushka Sharma is a darn good hairstylist. Who knew?

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh

India’s highest-paid actress Deepika Padukone, when not preparing for her new films this year (Chhapaak, 83), is letting her musical talent blossom. The Padmaavat star has been learning to play the piano, and her husband, actor Ranveer Singh, talked about his wife’s new passion during an Instagram Q&A session.

Padukone also posted a picture of her piano on Instagram, with a message (quoting Swedish pop group ABBA, no less) about the importance of music in these challenging times.
