Here’s how we know the TVF for DVF designer is serious about her dreams of fashion business success – she’s majoring in the field and surrounds herself with plenty of creative inspiration – including a rich Italian boyfriend, Rocco Brignone

Talita von Fürstenberg has quite the list of accomplishments under her belt. She’s designed several capsule collections for her fashion line TVF for DVF in partnership with her grandmother’s eponymous label, Diane von Fürstenberg, or DVF. And all before she turned 21 this May. Her third and latest collection, which launched this August, is a vision of soft hues, florals and femininity.

Here are five things to know about the fashion designer, socialite and heiress.

She looks to strong women for inspiration

TVF is a far cry from the edgy, statement-making aesthetics of DVF.

“Aesthetically, I dress most like my mum [Alexandra],” shares Talita. “I‘m always raiding her closet. I’d say she’s my biggest style inspiration. Another one of my style inspirations right now is [Moda Operandi CEO] Lauren Santo Domingo. She has amazing taste.”

She’s always wanted to be in fashion

Talita von Fürstenberg was asked if she always wanted to be a fashion designer in a 2019 interview with Forbes.

“I’ve always seen myself getting involved with the DVF brand,” she explained. “I just wanted to ensure I did it in a way that was true to myself and my design aesthetic. I love being able to provide a fresh perspective for the brand and speak to a younger demographic with my capsule collections. I pull a lot from the DVF concepts that have truly stood the test of time – like formula dressing and transitional pieces. It’s helped in creating a well-rounded collection.”

She’s getting her degree in the family business
