Thailand’s Princess Sirivannavari, Marie-Chantal of Greece, Britain’s Lady Amelia Windsor and more models and royals with a passion for fashion
Vogue Arabia’s first editor-in-chief was Saudi Arabia’s Princess Deena Aljuhani Abdulaziz, while Marie-Chantal, Crown Princess of Greece, has modelled for Michael Kors to Dolce & Gabbana – from a childrenswear designer beloved of Kate Middleton to a Dior model, these women are shaking off royal duties to take the fashion world by storm
Lady Victoria Hervey
Often snapped sporting a bikini and a to-die-for tan, Lady Victoria Hervey, the socialite aristocrat “It girl”, switched gears to become a businesswoman. With a brand new line of swimwear inspired by her Californian lifestyle, Ladyship Swim strikes gold with its wide range of brightly coloured bikinis and swimsuits. The brand continues to grow after making its Asia debut in Hong Kong, with a fashion show hosted by Dream Cruises in 2019.
More recently, Lady Victoria announced a collaboration with fashion designers Scott Henshall and Mark Lloyd for their jewellery range Hervey Lloyd Henshall.
Lady Amelia Windsor
She may be third cousin to princes William and Harry and 39th in line to the British throne, but Lady Amelia Windsor is making a bigger splash in the world of fashion. The young model, signed by the famous Storm model agency, has so far starred in campaigns for Dolce & Gabbana and Dior.
She even took her career a step further by trying her hand at fashion design in a collaboration with boot designer Penelope Chilvers, as well as sustainable jewellery brand Tada & Toy. This is one busy royal.
