While it’s usually royals who get their own memorabilia in Europe, Melania Trump has become something of a princess in her birthplace of Slovenia, with her likeness selling everything from food to tourist experiences.

In fact, Melania is an even bigger celebrity than Donald Trump in her native country, with her name and likeness appearing on everything from bakery products to abstract statues and city tours.

When Donald Trump visited Hong Kong

In August 1993, Donald Trump visited Hong Kong with the intention of building a Trump Tower in Central. “I’ve got many friends here, and one or two are interested in putting up a building similar to the Trump Tower in New York,” Trump told the South China Morning Post, published on August 19, 1993.

A lot has happened since that visit, like the small fact that he became president of the United States. But whatever happened to his planned Trump Tower in Hong Kong?
