So it’s only natural that the cannabis industry is getting more endorsements from Hollywood celebrities. In places where medical marijuana is legal, many are even cashing in on this booming sector. As “cannapreneurs”, they run their own cannabis companies as part of their quest to promote marijuana positivity as well as their own love for the leaf. The brand, which he created in collaboration with Californian cannabis grower Caliva, is his attempt to “redefine what cannabis means to consumers today”. This isn’t the rapper’s first foray into the green side of life: before launching Monogram, he worked with Caliva as their chief brand strategist. Seth Rogen We wouldn’t expect any less from one half of the hit Pineapple Express duo. Together with his business partner Evan Goldberg and renowned Ontario-based grower Canopy Growth, the actor came up with a cannabis company called Houseplant in March 2019. Snoop Dogg This rapper has been vocal about cannabis usage since his early days in the limelight, so it’s not exactly a surprise that he is “canna-cool”. But did you know he has his own cannabis brand called Leafs by Snoop? That’s right: the company sells many forms of marijuana products, including weed flowers, oils and edibles. Martha Stewart This may come as a shock, but Martha Stewart’s portfolio of household brands also includes a cannabis line called Blissed Out.
