Co-star Kim Lee called her Sunset Boulevard home ‘haunted’ and the 60-year-old millionaire agreed – but the Welby H. Hudson-designed property sure is a vision of old school Hollywood glamour regardless

Netflix’s Bling Empire is still taking the world by storm a week after its release, and there’s one thing we all seem to agree on: Anna Shay is the breakout star of the show. Not exactly what we would have expected from a 60-year-old millionaire who prefers to spend her time hanging out at home.

After many of the show’s scenes were filmed inside the star’s lavish Beverly Hills mansion, she this week put her “haunted home”, along the prestigious Sunset Boulevard, on the market for a cool US$16 million.

After multiple pet deaths at the old house, the property was dubbed “haunted” by cast member Kim Lee. “I think there are spirits,” Shay agreed.

According to Variety, Shay bought the mansion in 2001 for US$9.4 million. Not a bad profit if she gets her asking price!

We’re not completely surprised she’s decided to sell the property, considering she was busy taking a sledgehammer to a wall on her own during her introductory scene on the show. As you do.

The mansion, built by architect Welby H. Hudson in 1926, is a Spanish Revival style property and covers nearly 9,000 sq ft (that’s if Shay hasn’t bashed it all down by now).
