Not many teenagers can say their parents’ jobs come with major perks. Barron Trump may have grown up with the pressure of being in the White House spotlight, but Melania and Donald Trump’s young son has managed to bag some pretty cool gifts to date, too. But just who is showering him with such extravagance?

Most newborns might receive clothes, toys or other supplies that parents require for their care, but babies born into billionaire families can expect plenty more. When Barron was born, Ellen DeGeneres gave him a chandelier. The talk show host didn’t buy baby Barron the luxury lighting fixture for his nursery in Trump Tower, where he had an entire floor above his parents’ bedroom with its own kitchen and nanny quarters. The ceiling bling was, in fact, for the inside of a golden stroller she had also given him. Seems about right for a Trump.

The stroller also matched the gold interiors of the Trumps’ US$100 million penthouse in New York. According to People magazine, at the time Melania said of the gift, “It’s fun. It makes you laugh.”

However, DeGeneres was blasted after details of the one-month-old’s gift were made public, with netizens calling it “grotesque”.

She wasn’t the only celebrity showering gifts on baby Barron – many stars reportedly gave him onesies with his dad’s famous catchphrase from reality TV show The Apprentice, “You’re fired!”, emblazoned across the front.

Journalist and TV personality Barbara Walters gave him a giant stuffed dog toy, and fashion designer and furrier Dennis Basso got him a mink coverlet.
