Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello
While quarantining together in Miami, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have expanded their family. The Senorita singers introduced their new addition, Tarzan, to the world on Mendes’ Instagram. Having now racked up over three million likes, the post features a series of photos and videos of the Golden Retriever puppy.
Jennifer Aniston
Kourtney Kardashian
Kourtney Kardashian surprised her children with a Golden Retriever puppy in 2019, that they named Cubs. The eldest Kardashian sister had previously shared a video on Instagram of her son Reign asking his Elf on the Shelf doll to tell Santa to get him “a real dog” for Christmas. As well as Cubs, Kardashian’s family also have a Pomeranian called Honey.

Camila Mendes
Camila Mendes became a dog mum in November 2019 when she introduced fans to her Maltipoo named Truffle. The Riverdale star adopted the dog from an animal rescue organisation. Mendes has been blessing our feeds with Truffle content during the Covid-19 pandemic. In a post that she captioned “my cuddly lil quarantine companion”, the actress urged others to think about fostering a pet during the quarantine period.
Channing Tatum
Channing Tatum announced on Instagram that he adopted a Dutch Shepherd named Rooklin. “He’s gonna be a goon. After I lost my Lulu, I didn’t know when or if I’d be open to having another dog. But he sought me out and we met eyes and then some imprinting happened,” he wrote. This the first pet the Magic Mike star has had since his beloved pooch Lulu died in 2018.
Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid
Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid introduced their rescue puppy Dexter in August 2020, just two months after the pair celebrated their one-year anniversary. The New Rules singer shared a series of photos of their new “tiny best friend” snuggling up to the couple. The black puppy was dressed in a blue sherpa jumper for the occasion of his introduction, and has a distinctive white patch of fur on its chest that looks like a number seven.
Kendall Jenner
It’s no secret that the Kardashian-Jenner family are big animal lovers, and Kendall Jenner is no exception. The model has three pets: two dogs and a snake that she refers to as “my son”. Despite her busy schedule, Jenner always makes time for her animals and is often seen out with her Doberman Pincher on juice runs and even to lunch with her friends.
Tom Holland
Tom Holland has had his Staffordshire Bull Terrier Tessa since 2014, and it’s safe to say he’s obsessed with her. Tessa never leaves the Spider-Man star’s side and has even stolen the show at red carpet events. Holland chose Tessa because of the stigma that Staffordshire Bull Terriers are a dangerous dog breed. In a 2018 interview with Buzzfeed, the actor shared his disgust about the laws in England banning certain breeds: “You can’t have pit bulls in England, they’re considered dangerous dogs, which is just nonsense. Look at this thing. How could you say that this is dangerous?”
Justin and Hailey Bieber
After getting married in a courthouse in 2018, Justin and Hailey Bieber took the next big step in their relationship and became dog parents. The puppy named Oscar joined their family just in time for Christmas, with Hailey referring to him as her “Christmas baby” in an Instagram Story. The couple have even made Oscar his own Instagram account, which has almost one million followers.
