There are a lot of wacky world records set by incredibly committed people. From having the world’s longest fingernails to being the tallest on the planet, the book of Guinness World Records contains many astonishing achievements. Even some celebrities are keen to get in on the act, setting their own weird globe-beating bests, while others have bagged records purely as a result of their impressive careers. Here are 10 stars you didn’t know hold world records …
Dwayne Johnson
The Jumanji star created the largest layered dip in 2017. He and his team took five hours to make a 250kg (540 pound) dip in a 100-gallon (378-litre) fish tank. They later donated it to an organisation that supports the homeless.

The 98-year-old actress holds the Guinness World Record for the female entertainer with the longest TV career. She kicked off her acting journey in 1939 and has since landed roles in hit shows The Golden Girls, The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Carol Burnett Show. White has also received eight Emmy Awards, three American Comedy Awards, three Screen Actors Guild Awards and a Grammy Award.

The hit K-pop act landed the record for the most-viewed YouTube video in 24 hours.when the song Boy With Luv racked up an amazing 74,600,000 views on April 12, 2019. They also hold the records for most Twitter engagements for a music group and the fastest time to reach one million followers on TikTok.
Eminem
The 48-year-old rapper earned his world record for including the most words in a hit song. His tune Rap God clocks in at 1,560 words in six minutes and four seconds. He also holds the record for most successive US No 1 albums by a solo artist.
Jennifer Lawrence
Passengers star Lawrence has the title of highest-grossing female action movie star. The takings from her box office films The Hunger Games and the X-Men franchise helped push her gross for such films over US$4 billion out of a lifetime total of US$5.5 billion according to the-numbers.com.
Jackie Chan
The 66-year-old martial artist rose to fame with his action films so it’s no wonder that he holds the record for most stunts by a living actor. He also holds the record for most credits by the same person in one film – 15 for CZ12 or Chinese Zodiac – for which he was credited as writer, director, actor and many more roles.
Martin Scorsese
The legendary director holds the most best director Oscar nominations for a living director. He earned the title after the 2020 Academy Awards when he was nominated for a ninth time for his film The Irishman. He is second to the late William Wyler’s twelve nominations overall.
