  • Since moving to the US they’ve made deals with Netflix and Spotify and almost entirely shunned their previous royal lives
  • Does new neighbour Serena Williams give Archie tennis lessons? Will the couple be more vocal about politics? If anyone can get to the juicy details, it’s Oprah

To say it’s been a tumultuous 12 months for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is an understatement. From their royal family mic drop and their return to the spotlight, to their recent pregnancy news, we have a lot of questions. And who better to ask our burning inquiries than the queen of talk herself, Oprah Winfrey? (The answer is: nobody. Because nobody is better than Oprah. Try convince us otherwise).

Fortunately, America’s CBS revealed that Oprah with Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special, will air on March 7. It will be the couple’s first proper sit-down interview since stepping down as senior members of the royal family.

In a post on Meghan’s Instagram page, a statement read: “Winfrey will speak with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, in a wide-ranging interview, covering everything from stepping into life as a royal, marriage, motherhood and philanthropic work, to how she is handling life under intense public pressure. Later, the two are joined by Prince Harry as they speak about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family.”

It’s not yet known whether the Duchess has set out any parameters around the exclusive interview. But as the former talk show host prepares her questions for the most exciting royal interview of recent times, we thought we’d help her out by proposing some of the more burning topics we’re dying to know about (we’ve practically done all the work for you, Oprah).

The royal family feud

No matter how much they try to hide it, it’s no secret that Meghan and Harry’s exit from the royal family has created a lot of tension between family members. In fact, brothers William and Harry are reportedly barely on speaking terms these days.

Not surprisingly, when asked about the upcoming Oprah interview, Buckingham Palace distanced itself from it in a statement: “The Duke and Duchess are no longer working members of the royal Family and therefore any decisions they take with regard to media commitments are matters for them. As non working MRF they are under no obligation to inform the royal Household of such plans.”
