  • The Rain On Me singer has offered a US$500,000 reward for the return of two beloved pet bulldogs that were kidnapped after her dog walker Ryan Fischer was shot
  • Lady Gaga regularly spoils her dogs with Alexander McQueen accessories and private jet trips – and shows them off on magazine covers and Instagram, of course

Lady Gaga has offered a US$500,000 reward for the return of her two beloved French bulldogs that were stolen during a robbery on Wednesday night (February 25). Police launched a manhunt after Gaga’s dog walker, named by some US media outlets as Ryan Fischer, was shot multiple times during the robbery in Los Angeles.

Fischer was walking Koji, Gustav and Miss Asia when he was attacked and shot with a semi-automatic handgun. He is currently in hospital. The perpetrators managed to nab Koji and Gustav, while Miss Asia ran away during the ordeal. She was later found and recovered by the singer’s bodyguard.

Gaga’s whopping US $500,000 reward for the return of her pups comes with a “no questions asked” clause, reported TMZ. The musician is currently in Italy working on a film and is “distraught” over the news, according to TMZ.

Her reaction is no surprise; most pet owners would be devastated to have their furry friends stolen, and – like other celebrities with pets – Gaga has always spoiled her dogs with luxuries from private jets trips to hotel stays and custom made outfits. Here’s a look at just how much Mother Monster loves her Frenchies.

Lockdown buddies

Gaga regularly shows her love for her dogs by posting photos of them on her Instagram. When the US went into pandemic lockdown in March 2020, Gaga appealed to her fans to stay home by posting a picture of herself doing just that with her dogs. The post got more than 1.6 million likes from fans, who applauded her for encouraging her followers to be safe. (Perhaps some fans were even inspired to adopt an animal companion of their own for quarantine company?)
