Meet Jung Jiwoo, BTS member J-Hope’s sister and social media superstar who runs AJ Look fashion and hip eyewear brand Fun the Mental
But she’s more than the sister of a K-pop idol. She’s famous in her own right too, with 7.7 million Instagram followers and 1.7 million YouTube subscribers at the time of writing.
This March, the 31-year-old even signed an exclusive contract with Cube Entertainment, whose talent includes K-pop groups (G)I-dle, Pentagon and BtoB, as well as actor Na In-woo. According to Koreaboo, Jung was designated as a YouTuber and fashion influencer on the agency’s website.
So she’s a successful social media influencer, but what else is there to know about Jung Jiwoo?
She has an impeccable sense of style
That should go without saying for a fashion influencer, but Jung’s taste is particularly eclectic, her Instagram shows. Her OOTDs range from casual to feminine; she’s just as likely to pair separates – a biker jacket with a skirt, or a coat over a striped tee and jeans – as she is to don a long dainty dress.
She has channelled her talent into running her own businesses. According to Koreaboo, she runs the fashion company AJ Look, the e-commerce site Mejiwoo and the eyewear brand Fun the Mental.
Need more proof of her expertise? She once taught G(I)-dle’s Yuqi how to run a fashion website, and fans gushed over her entrepreneurial acumen when the KakaoTV video made the rounds online.
She’s relatable
Aside from fashion, her content also revolves around her day-to-day life, making her very accessible to fans. She recently did a vlog about one of her days off: she had an appointment with a dermatologist, got lunch with a friend and made some watercolour candles. She also posts about how she pampers herself and spends time with her fiancé.
She’s engaged
Speaking of romance, last August on Instagram Jung announced that she planned to marry her boyfriend in 2021. She’s also posted photos of herself wearing different wedding dresses. Many wonder who her non-celebrity fiancé is, but Jung has only confirmed that she will hold her wedding in Seoul in May, according to a report by SPOTV.

She has expensive taste
