Astro’s Cha Eun-woo: judge

Popular for his singing, dancing and charm, while being good looking to boot, Cha Eun-woo has been dubbed a “face-genius” by fans. But he’s not just a genius when it comes to performing – he’s apparently pretty smart too, and once even dreamed of becoming a legal judge.

According to Top Star News, Cha was a student representative in middle school and ranked among the top three students with the best grades. His agency Fantagio Music confirmed that he wanted to enter Seoul National University – widely known as South Korea’s top university – to obtain his bachelor’s degree in law.
However, his agency scouted him while he was attending a school festival as a middle schooler, asking him to become a trainee. Cha and his family refused the offer the first few times, but later agreed to it, which eventually led to the debut of Astro.
