Kim Cattrall

After playing the sexually confident Samantha, Cattrall continued acting in films (Ice Princess, The Ghost Writer) and TV shows (her latest is Fox’s Filthy Rich). But unfortunately her off-screen feud with fellow cast member Sarah Jessica Parker is what really made headlines over the years.

Cattrall made it clear during her 2017 interview with Piers Morgan that she will not do another Sex and the City. She further stated that she was never really friends with the others.

In 2020, during an interview on the Women’s Prize for Fiction podcast, Cattrall said that she feels “lucky” to be excluded as Samantha Jones from the new reboot. She told Morgan that “another actress should play it”.
The 64-year-old star has penned two books since the show ended, on top of the explicit guide she published while still a cast member. She also got divorced from husband Mark Levinson in 2004, and has been dating Russell Thomas for the past four years.
