Following the airing of Friends: The Reunion, HBO Max’s SATC revival And Just Like That … is set to start production this summer

Kim Cattrall – most recently in Fox’s Filthy Rich – is still happily dating boyfriend Russell Thomas, while Cynthia Nixon even ran for New York governor in 2018

It seems that 2021 is the year for television nostalgia. We recently saw the iconic Friends: The Reunion, and now the hype machine is already whirling around Sex and the City’s revival on HBO Max. The 10-episode show titled And Just Like That … will start production this summer, according to Deadline, with no official release date yet.

Earlier this January, Sarah Jessica Parker uploaded a teaser trailer to her Instagram confirming the return of three out of the four original characters. (Adios Samantha!) We’ve also learned that Sara Ramirez is joining in as Che Diaz while the show’s leading men (Chris Noth, John Corbett, David Eigenberg and Willie Garson) are all set to reprise their roles.

The original series aired from 1998 to 2004 and was followed by two film sequels in 2008 and 2010.

Before the brand new show hits our screens, we can’t help but wonder … what have the Sex and the City ladies been up to all these years?

The fashion icon who plays Carrie Bradshaw continued her Hollywood legacy by starring in successful films (The Family Stone, Failure to Launch and New Year’s Eve) and returned to television (Glee, HBO’s Divorce). She was slated to return to Broadway in 2020 with Neil Simon’s Plaza Suite, but the production got postponed to March 2021 due to the pandemic.

In addition to her acting career, Parker, 56, has found success with her clothing line (Bitten for Steve & Barry’s), shoe line (SJP Collection), beauty line (SJP Beauty) and an award-winning wine (Invivo X, Sarah Jessica Parker).
