Khan’s lavish mansion in Mumbai first caught his eye when he was filming his 1997 hit Yes Boss. It is in one of Mumbai’s most expensive areas and is worth US$27 million. His wife Gauri told Vogue India that it took more than 10 years to remodel and decorate the home so that everyone in the family was happy.

The house is a well-known tourist hotspot and Khan regularly obliges his fans by standing on a makeshift podium on the terrace to greet people who wait outside to see him. Inside the house is decorated with plush furnishings, crystal chandeliers and family memorabilia.
