Born in Texas to Mexican parents, she talked to Looper about the series’ LGBTQ+ representation saying, “I think that it’s going to be really rewarding to be able to make an impact on little queer kids’ lives, on little Latino kids’ lives.” Before being cast in the diverse TV show, Moreno previously starred in the Mexican Netflix series Control Z.
