Hardik and Krunal Pandya have taken the cricket world by storm. While they dominate the field playing for the Mumbai Indians – the Indian Premier League (IPL) team famously owned by the Ambanis – the close relationship between the brothers has also notably made headlines. The pair, aged 30 and 27 respectively, always share encouraging words on social media and aren’t shy about speaking of the strong sibling bond they share.

In fact, they’re so close they have even bought a luxury flat together in Mumbai. Here’s what you need to know about their new pad.

The brothers come from a middle-class family, but their cricket talent has earned them a pretty penny. They recently moved into a swanky new home in the Rustomjee Paramount complex in Mumbai’s star-studded Bandra Khar suburb.

The gated community is billed as one of the first of its kind in the area and, according to the development’s website, it ensures privacy, security and luxury amenities for its residents. GQ India reports that the brothers’ home spans 3,800 sq ft and is worth an estimated US$4 million. According to Times Now, the area hosts the rich and famous, including Bollywood couple Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani, who reportedly live in the same building as the brothers.

The incredible features

The most outstanding feature of the sprawling property is the unobstructed views of the city and the Arabian Sea. The luxury residence offers shared amenities for residents including a rock climbing area, a stargazing deck, a private theatre, a sky lounge and a pool.

There is also a game room, gym, podium and spa. Amenities like the theatre, rock climbing area and game room can be booked by residents so that they can host private events.

A new gated community lifestyle

Of course, access to Rustomjee Paramount is tightly controlled so that residents can sleep easy at night knowing they are safe. The gated community lifestyle, meanwhile, is aimed at younger couples or singletons who would rather not worry about maintaining their own large house. All in all, residents can be part of an exclusive community while still maintaining their privacy.

Rustomjee Paramount also offers residents access to exclusive events based on their interests. For example, if you are a cricket lover, you might be able to snag special tickets to games – a benefit these brothers might not necessarily need …

A major milestone

The purchase of the home marks a major milestone for the brothers, who are widely respected in India for coming from a non-celebrity family and earning their own wealth. BollywoodShaadis reports that they grew up in an old, small flat in Gujarat before they got famous.
