Isha Ambani may prefer cosy jumpers and easy cotton kurtas (loose collarless shirts), but she sure as heck does fashion well. In fact, the daughter of Mukesh Ambani, Asia’s richest man, is one of India’s most prominent fashionistas, with her fans keenly following her style and designers of choice for inspiration. Isha herself says one of the best things about India is the clothes.

Isha stunned in a gold sari when she attended the star-studded wedding of actor Armaan Jain and Anissa Malhotra, in Mumbai in February 2020. Also showing their famous faces at the nuptials were actors Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja.

Relying on one of her favourite designers, Isha wore Sabyasachi Mukherjee to the wedding. She added a diamond choker and cocktail rings to the look. According to online retailer Ethnicroop, the dress is made from sana silk and retails for around US$18,000.

Isha went for a softer look with a lilac and gold sari for the pre-wedding celebrations of Arjun Kothari held at the Ambani mansion, Antilia, in Mumbai in November 2019. Kothari is Mukesh and Anil Ambani’s nephew. The event saw Bollywood royalty in full attendance, including Aishwarya Rai and husband Abhishek Bachchan, Natasha Poonawalla and Pinky Reddy.
