She has gained a whopping 20 million followers and counting!

The numbers just keep rising – from having around 400,000 fans before Squid Game dropped on Netflix, Jung now boasts over 20 million fans on Instagram. According to Forbes, she has become the most-followed South Korean actress after overtaking veteran actress Song Hye-kyo and another model-turned-actress Lee Sung-kyung’s follower count.

Jung shared with Teen Vogue how she is handling this sudden rise to fame and success. “What I’m trying to do is I’m trying to see people that are very close to me so that I can stay [grounded] and I don’t get carried away because of this. At the same time, I also try to feel grateful for every person who made this series possible and every single person [in] the audience,” she said.
She is Louis Vuitton’s latest global ambassador

Yup, Jung is Louis Vuitton’s new muse! The French fashion house recently announced Jung as its new global house ambassador for fashion, watches and jewellery with a chic campaign photo of her on their Instagram account. The Seoul-born beauty has actually been modelling for the luxury brand since 2016, appearing on runways at Paris Fashion Week and in the brand’s ad campaigns over the years.
