Trevor Noah is about to make some serious cash after listing one of his properties for a whopping US$29.75 million. It’s the second luxury home the 37-year-old has sold in just over a year, elevating his status in the property market.

Noah, who came in at No 4 on Forbes’ Highest-Earning Stand-up Comedians of 2019 list after Kevin Hart, Jerry Seinfeld and Jim Gaffigan, has been working “non-stop” over the years. Noah has raked in millions from his The Daily Show hosting gig, Netflix specials and stand-up shows.

According to the New York Post, Noah bought the luxury home about 10 months ago after things got serious with his on-again, off-again girlfriend, actress Minka Kelly. Noah is based in NYC while Kelly lives in California. He bought the house for them to share, reports the New York Post.

The couple supposedly split five months later – but soon rekindled their relationship, and have been spotted out together several times since the break-up rumours. In early October, the actress was reportedly spotted in New York City running errands.

In September, the New York Post reported that the couple stayed at a US$52,000-a-month Tribeca rental in New York City, but Noah’s spokesperson denied it, saying Noah was renting it for a family member.

Noah, who has a multimillion-dollar net worth, forked out a hefty US$27.5 million for the home and has listed it on the market for US$29.75 million.

Designed by architect Mark Rios, the home is a great example of LA indoor-outdoor living.

The interior is filled with natural light, and blends into the outdoors thanks to large windows and a floor plan that has indoor living areas opening directly onto outdoor terraces.

The mansion was built in 2014 and has a gym, sauna, office, screening room, floor to ceiling glass doors and Creston home automation, reports the New York Post.

It also has a security booth, a pavilion with an outdoor kitchen and an infinity pool, reports Fox Business.

But the new owner’s biggest bragging rights will probably be that the 11,400 sq ft home used to be Noah’s.

He may be best known for his stand-up comedy and as the host of The Daily Show, but Noah is quickly earning himself a reputation in the property market, too. In September 2020, he sold another Bel Air mansion for US$21.7 million after buying it for US$20.5 million, according to Dirt.com.

According to the same source, the house was never put on the open market, although property records show the sale did occur. The September sale was a cash deal, but the buyer’s identity was never revealed as it was bought through a blind trust, according to Dirt.com
