Actress Sarah Paulson has starred in a handful of films and series over the years, but it was her role in 2012’s American Horror Story: Asylum that really shot her to international stardom. Since then, the 46-year-old actor has fast become a stalwart in the horror genre, and has been a key cast member in every season of American Horror Story since (minus the mediocre 1984).

Thanks to her diverse character roles on the show, she’s received five Primetime Emmy Award nominations and won two Critics’ Choice Television Awards.
