Who will star in The Real Housewives of Dubai? Lindsay Lohan, Huda and Mona Kattan, ‘Supercar Blondie’ Alex Hirschi, Steps’ Lisa Scott-Lee and Caroline Stanbury top our dream cast list
Last week, producer Andy Cohen announced the network’s The Real Housewives of Dubai, and while the cast has not yet been confirmed, a few names have started circulating on social media, including fashion designer/entrepreneurs Dr Sara Al Madani and Lesa Milan Hall, real estate guru Caroline Brooks, model Chanel Ayan and lifestyle influencer Nina Ali.
10 celebrities who became BFFs with their exes’ new partners
Fortunately, it’s still early days, and anything can happen. Here’s who STYLE’s resident celeb watchers are voting to see on The Real Housewives of Dubai.
Huda and Mona Kattan: the beauty moguls
At the top of our cast wish list are beauty mogul sisters Huda and Mona Kattan. Because arguably no other sisterly duo in the region is as glamorous, fabulous and downright wealthy as the Kattans.
Raised in Oklahoma and Tennessee after their Iraqi parents immigrated to the US, both 38-year-old Huda Beauty founder Huda and her 36-year-old sister Mona are now based in Dubai, where their company HQ is.
They’re besties with the Kardashians and the Beckhams, and have already ventured into reality TV with their brilliant Facebook Watch series Huda Boss, so it’s a no-brainer to lead with this power pair.
Lindsay Lohan: the actress
No, this is not a drill – The Parent Trap actress has lived in Dubai since 2017, making her one of the emirate’s most famous residents.
After living out many years of personal troubles and struggles in the public eye, Lohan apparently moved to Dubai to escape the paparazzi and live a quieter, more wholesome life.
And while Lohan may not be married or an actual housewife in the traditional sense, she’s exactly the star power and international appeal the show needs.

Alex Hirschi: the tomboy
As her @supercarblondie handle suggests, Hirschi is all about fast and glamorous cars, and let’s be honest – it doesn’t get more Dubai than that.
She’s married to Nik Hirschi, who doubles as her manager and cameraman, and together the pair have built an incredible online following, including over nine million followers on Instagram.
Lisa Scott-Lee: the pop star
Lisa Scott-Lee is pop music royalty in the UK, but the former star of Steps has actually been based in the UAE for the past decade. For those of you who don’t remember, Steps were a huge success in the 90s and early noughties, and in recent years they’ve reunited for albums and tours.
But since 2011, Scott-Lee has made a home in Dubai, where she runs a performing arts school and shares her life with husband Johnny Shentall, a fellow former pop star from the group Hear’Say.
If that doesn’t already make her sound like the perfect Real Housewife, we don’t know what will. After all, every Real Housewives franchise has a singer cast member, right?

Joelle Mardinian: the girlboss
Maison de Joelle, one of the leading beauty salon chains in the Middle East, was launched by the beauty entrepreneur Joelle Mardinian.
Beirut-born Mardinian moved to Dubai in 2004, and fast became a force to be reckoned with in the region.
With salons now in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Egypt, she’s become uber wealthy over the years, and has a following of almost 18 million on Instagram alone.
Plus having beauty product queens the Kattans and beauty salon boss Mardinian on the same show will make for some pretty interesting viewing.
Karen Wazen: the style queen
We reckon Lebanese-British fashion entrepreneur and social media influencer Karen Wazen would be the perfect Housewives candidate to bring some Middle Eastern style to the show.
A mother of three married to husband Elias Bakhazi, the 34-year-old made Forbes’ 2019 list of “Women Behind Middle Eastern Brands”, and has graced the covers of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, Elle Arabia and Grazia Middle East.
Need more proof of her star power? Wazen even had a cameo in the recent Men in Black: International reboot alongside Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson.

Caroline Stanbury: the socialite
Dubai socialite Caroline is the only Housewives candidate on our list that is already believed to have signed up for the show. Hoorah!
She was married to millionaire Turkish investment banker Cem Habib for 17 years, but is now engaged to new beau Sergio Carrallo, a former professional football player who’s 18 years her junior.
Previously starring in Bravo TV’s other reality show, Ladies of London, Stanbury has famously been linked to Prince Andrew, Duke of York; Hugh Grant and Sylvester Stallone. She’s also besties with the likes of Nicole Scherzinger, so you know she’s going to bring the A-list factor to the show.
- No cast members have been confirmed for Bravo’s first international edition of its hit reality TV franchise – but the rumour mill is pointing at Nina Ali and Chanel Ayan
- From unlikely UAE resident Lindsay Lohan to beauty moguls Huda and Mona Kattan, and Lisa Scott-Lee from 90s pop band Steps, this is our cast member wish list
