How Shin Min-ah became Korea’s face of luxury: the Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha star is Gucci’s new ambassador – she’s also done fashion and beauty campaigns for Chanel, Givenchy and Cartier

- She was named Gucci’s ambassador with Squid Game’s Lee Jung-jae, and appeared in a steamy 2009 Calvin Klein ad alongside 50 Shades of Grey’s Jamie Dornan
- The K-drama actress admitted she only ever wears Roger Vivier shoes, and got close to her current boyfriend Kim Woo-bin on the set of an ad for Giordano
Here’s a look at all the major brands she’s worked with …
Gucci

Donning a gorgeous laced violet top paired with a high slit skirt from Gucci’s Aria collection, Shin looks radiant in one of the official pictures for her new gig as the brand’s new global brand ambassador.
In an official statement, the Italian luxury maison explained the reason behind her appointment: “Her sophisticated and unequalled style and her belief in the pursuit of diversity and respect for self-expression is similar to Gucci’s philosophy.”
Cartier

The Swiss luxury watchmaker has collaborated with Shin number of times over the years. She modelled the brand’s gorgeous timepieces in an exclusive magazine photo shoot for W Korea and Harper’s Bazaar Korea, among others. In 2017, she was chosen as the face of Cartier’s Panthere de Cartier jewellery for South Korea.
