Faye Wong is one of Hong Kong’s most famous Canto-pop singers, frequently referred to as the “Diva of Asia”. With an estimated net worth of US$150 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth, the 52-year-old icon has been steadily regaining her presence as a star after her hiatus from entertainment between 2005 and 2009.

Despite her hiatus, Wong’s popularity hasn’t faded at all. Her return to the entertainment industry was solidified in February 2010, where she covered Legend by Li Jian at the CCTV New Year’s Gala. She delivered an amazing performance, and her act was watched by over 700 million viewers. She also had a series of comeback concerts that spanned across numerous cities and ran from October 2010 until June 2012.

The pop star’s return to the small screen on Chinese reality TV show PantaCity in 2018 drew over 160 million views with its first episode, as she performed one of her hits Dream Lovers, according to China.org.
Wong owns several properties in China and Hong Kong. Recently, one of her condos in Beijing gained attention after a netizen claimed that she saw a 6ft tall Buddha statue on her balcony, according to Today. Guess when you’re crazy rich, you really can spend your money on anything!
