The eldest child of Microsoft founder Bill Gates and his wife Melinda has shared several truly fabulous photos of her bridal shower and lavish wedding celebrations.

When your parents are among the richest people on the planet, it would be pretty easy to end up being a spoiled brat. However, Bill and Melinda were extremely aware of the fact, and instead employed a surprisingly strict parenting style, instilling plenty of discipline in their three children, and assigning them regular chores to keep normalcy alive in their home.

Nevertheless, Jennifer Gates still grew up in the lap of luxury alongside her two siblings. She was born in Bellevue, Washington, but grew up on the family’s California estate that took seven years and cost US$63 million to build. The home reportedly had a trampoline room, an artificial beach with real Caribbean sand and 18 bathrooms.
