They laid on private jets, followed strict Covid-19 protocols and arranged for special blessings by priests so that guests could make the trip to the family home in Jamnagar. Extensive Covid-19 protocols Ahead of the grand party, the Ambani family released a note to guests explaining the protocols that must be followed. The note said guests had to be double vaccinated and that the event would take place in a “fully quarantined bubble party”. According to Bollywood Life the note added that guests would need to take a daily Covid-19 test from December 7. The family offered to fly in guests from outside Mumbai via private jet but said that their test results would be needed in order for them to gain entrance to the Jamnagar bungalow. Giving back According to BollywoodShaadis , the Ambanis said that in celebration of the youngest member of the family turning one, they would feed 50,000 people in nearby villages and hold celebrations in 150 orphanages around Jamnagar. The star-studded guest list More than 120 guests were invited to the star-studded event, with high profile politicians, Bollywood stars and famous cricketers in attendance. Some of the people who were spotted arriving at Jamnagar Airport included Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Sachin Tendulkar and Zaheer Khan. Performances and blessings Herzindagi reports well-known singer Arijit Singh was commissioned to perform at the birthday party. It was also reported that 100 priests blessed baby Prithvi on the big day. International chefs from Italy and Thailand handled the catering, all of them flown in, isolated for days leading up to the party and having to take daily Covid-19 tests. A large play area was built specifically so the kids could all play together. Then, the day after the party, private jets were arranged to ferry guests back home from Jamnagar.
