It would be an understatement to say we love royal stories. Though the pandemic hasn’t quite ended, we can always keep ourselves occupied with their high-flying, interesting and occasionally bizarre lives. From glimpses into their extravagant lifestyle to fairy tale weddings, STYLE has seen it all.

With royal marriage comes royal babies. Following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s controversy when they named their second child Lilibet Diana – the intimate nickname used to address Queen Elizabeth by her close relatives – we looked at a few other royal names that strayed from tradition, causing a few raised eyebrows at the time.

5. 6 Princess Diana statues and memorials

On what would have been the 60th birthday of the late Princess Diana, her sons Prince William and Prince Harry unveiled a new statue in the Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace, the former residence of the Princess of Wales.
