Inside Canadian billionaire Lawrence Stroll’s crazy rich life: he owns the Aston Martin F1 team, epic superyachts and a vintage Ferrari collection
The Canadian billionaire made his fortune in fashion before becoming a racing boss, and loves to splash his cash on an enviable collection of vintage vehicles and properties. But he’s not the only one enjoying the fruits of his labour – his family sure does, too.
Here’s everything you need to know about his luxurious lifestyle.
Lawrence Stroll is worth US$3 billion
Stroll made his fortune by selling his shares in Tommy Hilfiger and Michael Kors and he masterminded the latter’s hugely successful IPO alongside Hong Kong tycoon Silas Chou in 2011. He followed in his father’s footsteps too; Leo Strulovitch was the man who brought Ralph Lauren and Pierre Cardin to the masses in Canada. (The Stroll name is short for Strulovitch.)

His wife and ex are both fashion designers
The billionaire’s first wife, Belgian-born businesswoman Claire-Anne Callens, is the mother of his two children Lance and Chloe, and started activewear label Callens in 2015.
The pair got hitched on the Caribbean island of Mustique, where Stroll owns a US$100 million property. He also owns homes in London, Quebec and Geneva, where he lives.
His daughter Chloe is an F1 heiress
Stroll’s 26-year-old daughter Chloe is a singer who is often seen at Grand Prix events. She released a single titled Surrender in 2012 and is engaged to Australian snowboarder Scotty James, who proposed to her in November 2021 after two years of dating.

Lawrence’s son, Lance, was the one who introduced his sister to James, who won bronze in the men’s half-pipe 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. The pair have gone on dates in many cities including New York and Park City, Utah, before they made it official.
His son Lance has a rumoured net worth of US$50 million
Lance is an F1 driver believed to be making an annual salary of US$10 million on the Aston Martin team. At just 18, he became the youngest driver to start an F1 race in the first row of the grid back in 2017. And while some have accused the Strolls of nepotism, Lance insists that he has achieved his championship successes due to his talent, not his father.
That may be so, but it’s notable that he joined the Williams Racing team when Stroll invested in it, then joined his father’s Racing Point and now Aston Martin, where his dad is the team’s executive chairman.
Who’s the richest member of Girls on Top, K-pop’s new supergroup?
The 23-year-old French and English speaker was rumoured to be dating Made In Chelsea star Kimberley Garner in 2017, after the swimwear designer was spotted with him on his father’s yacht. However, his current girlfriend is Italian model Sara Pagliaroli.
