The Canadian billionaire made his fortune in fashion before becoming a racing boss, and loves to splash his cash on an enviable collection of vintage vehicles and properties. But he’s not the only one enjoying the fruits of his labour – his family sure does, too.

Stroll made his fortune by selling his shares in Tommy Hilfiger and Michael Kors and he masterminded the latter’s hugely successful IPO alongside Hong Kong tycoon Silas Chou in 2011. He followed in his father’s footsteps too; Leo Strulovitch was the man who brought Ralph Lauren and Pierre Cardin to the masses in Canada. (The Stroll name is short for Strulovitch.)
He owns one of the most expensive cars ever sold

Of course, he splurges his fortune on some truly impressive buys. His toys include yachts – he once owned a 96-metre, US$200 million superyacht that the likes of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones have been seen lounging on – and he is reportedly building an even bigger one. He also has a vintage Ferrari collection that includes one of the world’s most expensive ever cars – a Ferrari 250 GTO worth US$70 million.

He bought the Formula One racing team Force India in 2018 (now named Racing Point F1 Team) and, since early 2020, is now also part owner of the Aston Martin Formula 1 team after investing US$250 million for a 16.7 per cent stake. He hasn’t completely left the world of fashion behind though, and still has shares in London jeweller Asprey & Garrard (once the supplier to the British royals).
His wife and ex are both fashion designers
