The focus was on a minimalistic style with a lavish feel. The publication reports the rectangular box design was based on a brief to create a holiday home feel. Upon entry to the house, a long corridor leads out to the swimming pool. The bar, kitchen and dining area are all close to each other so that there is easy access between them. In an interview with Buildofy , Sharma said the actor definitely knew what he wanted. He said the design had to be “sharp, precise and bang on”. Sharma said the house is “a box shape structure, which is held by another frame”. Housing reports low-maintenance materials were used for the house. There are movable benches, which can be transported between the outdoor entertainment area and pool area. The publication also reports the bar has a bright yellow Piaggio Vespa and an aircraft propeller from Mumbai’s Mutton Street. Sharma told Houzz India the front has no windows or architectural designs, except for a horizontal glass strip that breaks the spread of white. “The client wanted windows in the front. But we wanted to add a bit of mystery to the design, so we convinced him to do away with them. Also architecturally speaking, more windows don’t always mean more cross ventilation,” he said. Inside the home, the living room’s natural colour scheme has been offset by black and white striped cushions, a grey rug and plants. The home also has a cosy television room with chaise longue chairs in perky red. The overall feel is one of simple luxury. Framed artwork, quality materials and marble counters add to the luxe feel. Dining and play The kitchen continues with the white decor theme along with ivory coloured cabinets. In pictures posted on Instagram by the actor, a fridge with plenty of cheerful magnets, notes and drawings is displayed.
