Meet Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s millionaire sons, Brandon and Dylan – whose careers range from Dolce & Gabbana modelling to acting in Bruce Willis’ Cosmic Sin and a Motel 7 music gig

Hulu’s new series Pam & Tommy portrays the whirlwind romance of the former Baywatch bombshell Pamela Anderson and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee in the 1990s. The couple tied the knot four days after meeting in 1995 – and divorced three years later.

But what about their sons, Brandon Thomas, born in 1996 and Dylan Jagger, in 1997?

The pair were never really in the spotlight growing up to protect their privacy, but now they’re making a name for themselves, following in the family business.

Like mother, like son – Brandon also started his career as a model. The teen once followed his famous mother to a meeting and was spotted by an agent from Next Mаnаgement.

He was hesitant at first, according to Grazia, but later walked for brands like Dolce & Gabbana and appeared on the cover of GQ.

“I wasn’t really into working in the entertainment industry – well, not modelling per se – and I never really thought of myself as having the model look. I always thought I wanted to be in film and models had to be super tall and good-looking,” he told Grazia.

He entered Hollywood a few years later and has been seen in multiple roles, notably Netflix’s 2018 teen comedy Sierra Burgess is a Loser and last year’s sci-fi flop Cosmic Sin alongside Bruce Willis. He was also cast in MTV’s The Hills sequel, The Hills: New Beginnings.

Playing a Quentin Tarantino character is his dream, he told W magazine: “I’ve always wanted to die in a Quentin Tarantino film.”

Besides entertainment, Brandon has also made a foray into business. Last November, he launched his own clothing line Swinger’s Club, golf wear with retro preppy feel. Both of his parents were spotted at the launch party.

“Golf is a huge part of my life and so is fashion. Up until this point it’s been a dream of mine to create a brand that reflects my sense of style combined with a lifestyle I love and enjoy,” he wrote on Instagram of the launch.

Like his parents, he is also a millionaire – with a reported net worth of US$1 million – and proud of his financial independence.

“I want to show people what I’m truly like. There are a lot of misconceptions about the way we were raised – that we’re spoiled, or that we were given everything. But our friends can back this up: Dylan and I haven’t taken a dollar from our parents since we were in high school,” he told Interview magazine in 2019. “We’ve been working to buy a house, buy a car, and pay for music equipment and acting lessons. It feels better to do it ourselves.”

Dylan Lee: a model and musician

Like Brandon, Dylan also walked on the runway as a teen model, debuting in a 2016 Saint Laurent show. He has since worked with Dolce & Gabbana, Hugo Boss, Armani Exchange, Coach and True Religion, and also appeared in GQ and Vogue.

While Brandon has followed their mother in to acting, Dylan has his father’s passion for music in his blood. “If I’m in for the night, I’m writing music. I’m either playing the piano, playing the guitar or producing on my computer,” he told W magazine, “That’s usually my night every day. Music, music, music!”

Dylan was a founder of Midnight Kids who started releasing remixes in 2017, though he only went public with his music in 2020 and left the duo last January.

A few months later, he put his face to another duo, Motel 7, with the video for the single Are We There Yet. Motel 7 had already been putting out music online for a couple of years. Dylan’s father was just as surprised as everyone else to learn his son was pursuing a career in music, WWD reported.

The band are still exploring their sound, according to Dylan. “We’ll put out a rap song, we’ll put out a pop song, put out an ‘I love you’ song. We were, like, let’s just make whatever we feel at the moment,” he told WWD about Motel 7.

The model turned musician – who also has a reported US$1 million fortune – added that he has followed what he loved and didn’t have any pressure for being a rock star’s son.

“I’m not really one to care what others think, really,” he said. “If someone was, like, ‘You’re whack’, I’d be, like, ‘Fire, let’s go’. That probably means I’m doing something right,” he said, according to Yahoo! Life. “I never really worried about expectations or anything, because I love doing it and making music is so fun. When I realised that, that I didn’t care what anyone thought, it was, like, ‘Oh, let’s do it.’”
