Tiffany Trump, the third child of former US president Donald Trump, is set to get hitched to her fiancé Michael Boulos in Greece, according to Insider. But how well do you know the happy couple and why they are choosing Greece?

Tiffany grew up in California with her mother Marla Maples while her father was based on the East Coast of the United States.

Her fiancé Boulos was raised in Nigeria by Lebanese parents, however, the pair are expected to say “I do” in Greece – where he has been going on holiday since he was a teenager.

The couple were reportedly introduced in 2018 at Lindsay Lohan’s Beach House Mykonos beach club where Tiffany was a guest during a fundraiser for the 2018 Attica wildfires.

Last summer, the couple were also seen touring Athens and enjoying a day trip to the ruins of Sounion.

However, a source told People magazine that they could have another ceremony in the United States to accommodate their multicultural families.

Ivanka Trump married Jared Kushner in 2009 at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, while Donald Trump’s third wedding – to Melania Trump in 2005 – was at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida.

When is the wedding ceremony?

This January, the couple celebrated a year since Boulos got down on one knee on the grounds of the White House and asked Tiffany to marry him. The couple announced the happy news at a controversial time though – it was on her father’s last day in office.

The bride-to-be has been excitedly getting ready for the ceremony since they announced their impending nuptials, People magazine reported. No official date has been publicly announced for the union.

Will it be a typical Trump wedding?

A source told People magazine that Tiffany – who is named after the Tiffany and Co. store opposite her father’s Trump Tower in New York City – “is obsessed with glamour and glitz as well as beauty and romance”. They added that she “wants to make her wedding one of a kind”.

If her engagement ring is anything to go by, the wedding bands will be flashy too. Boulos – who has been an associate director at his family’s multibillion-dollar company since he was 19 years old – popped the question with a US$1.2 million diamond engagement ring from Tiffany and Co, of course.

In some ways, Mean Girls actress-and-singer Lindsay Lohan brought the couple together, as their worlds reportedly collided at the star’s Greek beach club, which was once the subject of an MTV reality show.

Lohan, who now lives in Dubai, told MTV that she wasn’t there at the time they met, but she enjoys a “friendly” relationship with Tiffany. It wouldn’t be surprising if Lohan and other celebrities in her circle (including Abigail Breslin and Hayley Hasselhoff) were invited to witness the pair say their vows.

Actress Emmy Rossum was among the stars at Ivanka’s wedding, while Donald and Melania tied the knot in front of many famous faces.

Another sign that the wedding could be around the corner is how much time their families have been spending together.

Instagram posts show that Tiffany and her mother (Donald Trump’s second wife) enjoyed a skiing trip to France where the Boulos siblings were present. He has two sisters and an older brother, Fares, who is a rapper with the stage name Farastafari.

Tiffany’s half siblings – including Donald Jr, Eric and Barron – haven’t been seen with the couple since her father left Washington and they moved to Miami, Florida to be close to relatives. Tiffany and her mother are known to be exceptionally close, so the model and actress is expected to take a huge role in the wedding.
