Bollywood celebrities are known to be private when it comes to their love affairs. With millions of fans worldwide and an inescapable paparazzi following, it’s not surprising that some would prefer to keep their romances hidden. Some Bollywood celebrities even tie the knot in secret, like Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif , and only break the happy news publicly after their quiet ceremonies have already occurred. But Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan isn’t a fan of keeping his love life hush-hush, apparently, as he’s been flaunting his new flame Saba Azad all over social media. Not only does the Krrish actor sing her praises on Instagram, even his ex-wife Sussanne Khan has showed some love on Azad’s posts. So who is this lucky lady and what do we know about her? 1. She is an actress and a theatre veteran Saba Singh Grewal, known professionally as Saba Azad, made her debut in Dil Kabaddi (2008), but gained mainstream fame after appearing in the cult hit film Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge (2011). She was recently seen in last year’s Netflix’s anthology Feels Like Ishq (2021) and in this year’s SonyLIV biopic series Rocket Boys . She has also acted in short films, including Ishaan Nair’s Guroor, which won an award at the Dusty Film Festival. The 31-year-old is also popular among India’s indie music scene thanks to her electro-funk band called Madboy/Mink, which she formed with Imaad Shah in 2012. “Our paths crossed, and we realised we were into the same things – musically and aesthetically. We started to jam, and before we even had a band, we were booked for a gig,” Azad told Mumbai Mirror in an interview. They described their music genre as high energy dance music with “doses of disco, cabaret and punk”. Shah and Azad dated for seven years from 2013, before calling it quits and settling as music partners. The starlet is classically trained in Odissi, ballet, jazz, Latin as well as contemporary dance forms, and has performed internationally. 3. She is getting closer with Roshan and his family … Roshan and Azad’s dating rumours started when the couple were spotted out on dinner dates last month. Their romance intensified online, with Roshan regularly dropping compliments on her posts. Azad recently posted a screen test video of hers and Roshan was quick to write, “Woah … ha. I like.” He has also given shoutouts to his rumoured girlfriend and her band mate by re-sharing their posts on his Story. He wrote, “Kill it you guys” ahead of their Pune performance. Last year, she shared her advert with Sting Energy Drink on Instagram. 5.
