It’s reported that the Bahamian company will continue to double down on branding and sponsorship opportunities, per Yahoo Finance.
Platt has been a popular name in the fashion industry as she has walked several major runways before turning into a beauty entrepreneur in the US. Here’s everything you need to know about the businesswoman.
She founded an on-demand beauty company

The Columbia University graduate started her career as an intern at Morgan Stanley before becoming an analyst at a hedge fund company and then working as a fashion consultant, according to her LinkedIn. In March 2011, Platt founded an on-demand beauty company called Vensette, which has now grown into a multimillion-dollar business.
Her brainchild offers premium on-demand beauty services, in particular make-up and pre-styled hair, done by professional hair and make-up artists with a starting fee of US$100. Customers can book an appointment via Vensette’s website or an app and have a stylist come to the convenience of their home or office without any hassle. Her service business has often been described as revolutionising the beauty service industry.
