So what do we know about the 20-year-old rising star?
1. He started acting from a young age

Yoon may sound like a new name in the K-drama sphere, but his face has actually appeared on screen since he was age 12, according to Channel Korea. He portrayed the young versions of main leads in notable dramas and films like Gap-dong (2014), Mourning Grave (2014), Mothers (2017) and Still 17 (2018).

Just one year after his debut, at 13, he won best young actor at the 3rd APAN Star Awards and 33rd MBC Drama Awards, both for Mama (2014), where he played a son of a terminally ill mother. At 18, he won best young actor at the 27th SBS Drama Awards for dramas Everything and Nothing and Doctor John.
2. His first kiss was on screen

Growing up busy with films, Yoon was worried that his first kiss would come from a role, he revealed on variety programme Knowing Bros. And one day, his prediction actually came true when he lost his first kiss on the set of All of Us Are Dead.

The night before the kiss scene, he reportedly called his co-star and “kiss partner” Park Ji-hoo, who had experience from another movie, to ask for advice. “Ji-hoo told me to ‘just do it’,” he said. As a result, they had unexpected Eskimo kisses before a perfect one, creating one of the most hilarious behind-the-scenes takes.
